WALL turned into an ART

Panda in my balcony

Its been a year, that we’ve moved into our dream home. We shifted into an apartment of 49 houses. A beautiful home with Warm and bright mornings, cool and breeze evenings. A place little far away from the huzzle and busy city life, which is surrounded by mountains and scenery.

The day we moved in we were welcomed by Freshly painted plain walls in all the rooms. Days went by and we started to get things settled in our new home. However the plain walls were tempting my creativity.

Had a long conversation with my hubby about decorating our home. lots of suggestion and arguments came in and out. “Buy wall stickers from amazon or flipkart…”, “lets leave the wall plain without doing anything…“. But i wasn’t satisfied with the suggestions. Buying things online for home decor was not my choice, I felt it wasn’t that personalized. Some intuition was stopping me from buying it through online.

That’s when i decided to sketch what i like and personalize things in our home. A week later, I decided to do something I opened my craft cupboard, Took my paint and brushes and an A4 paper. Drew a rough sketch of what i want to paint on the wall. Things turned out pretty good when it was drawn on a paper. Had little fear when i placed a small dot on the wall with my pencil. Things were rushing in my mind, will the design be good?, will I ruin the wall? will the painting stay? and more important will my hubby like it?? ha ha ha !!!!

Gathered my courage and started with a small butterfly drawing same as the one i drew on the paper, I was happy with the outcome, but my imagination didn’t stop there, i started to paint the entire sketch which had on the paper into the wall in the living room . The small butterfly turned into a“Lanterns hanging in cherry blossom branch”

Things didn’t stop there. my next wall which turned into an art was our living room balcony. “A Panda hanging on a bamboo branch”. I go crazy when it comes to Panda. My Balcony became my favorite place in our home.

After a month, i drew few things at my parents home, but didn’t get a chance to capture the same.

C U LL soon in my next blog — with luv Paru

The Journey Begins

Thanks for joining me!

I’ve learned that fear limits you and your vision. It serves as blinders to what may be just a few steps down the road for you. The journey is valuable, but believing in your talents, your abilities, and your self-worth can empower you to walk down an even brighter path. Transforming fear into freedom

Every day is a journey, and the journey itself is home.
